Mission to Educate tells the story of these pioneers in education who overcame countless challenges to form one of the strongest Catholic school systems in the United States. Their actions influenced educational advancements and social reform not only in Missouri, but throughout the nation. By breaking down boundaries, they established a solid foundation on which the Catholic schools of the Saint Louis Archdiocese now stand. Our experienced faculty is composed completely of certified teachers, many whom have master's and/or post graduate degrees. They are committed to continuing their education and religious formation. Teachers' aides are utilized in assisting teachers and students in their daily work.
Students test above local and national average on standardized testing. The Iowa Test of Basic Skills is given annually in September.
The students may participate in the hot lunch program offered daily or they may bring their own lunch. Milk or juice is also available for sale. The cafeteria offers many homemade items and a full-service salad bar daily.
There is a school sponsored on-site Before and After School Care Program available for students in our school. The morning hours are from 6:30 to 7:25 a.m. The afternoon hours run from dismissal until 6:00 p.m.
Dependents of Catholic families registered and worshipping in our parish will be eligible to apply for admission at in Sts. Joachim and Ann School. Catholics that are registered outside of our parish and non-Catholics are also eligible to apply for admission, subject to classroom availabilty and approval from the pastor and principal.
Tuition is set by the School Board and Parish Council Finance Commitee each year and can be found on the registration form.
Tuition is paid as a single payment by July 1, or 10-11 monthly automatic deductions thru FACTS from July/August-May. In addition, a registration fee and annual PTO assessment is paid by families at the beginning of the school year. Families are also asked to generate a $200 profit in our Shop for Our Schools program.
Tuition assistance is available for those in need. Forms are available through the school office from January thru March 31 of the preceding year.
