Child of Service

Read for Need
This year, Sts. Joachim and Ann students are participating in a community service project with a two-fold purpose.  The project promotes reading in our school; but more importantly, it gives the students a chance to aid the needy in our community.  The project is a read-a-thon, which we call “Read for Need”.  

Students in grades 4-8 participated in a “Read Over” in the gym, on Thursday, November 8^th . Students needed at least one of the following in order to participate in the Read Over; 3 or more sponsors or $10 or greater in one-time pledges. 

Sts. Joachim and Ann students presented a check to the Care Service for over $1900.00.
