Mandy:
After graduating Sts. Joachim and Ann in 2011, I went to Duchesne high school. I played tennis my freshman year and then sophomore through senior year I was a cheerleader. After high school, I went on to study at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and stayed there for two years. At that time, I decided I wanted to move back home and attended the community college for a semester and then went to UMSL for nursing school. I graduated this past May 2020 and landed a job at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in the orthopedics unit. I absolutely love it!
I have so many favorite memories of J&A. I loved mystery trip! Getting to spend a whole day with all my friends from school was awesome! I loved the talent show as well and getting to perform with all the girls from my class. I loved Mr. Tramont’s class and how my class got him a finch bird since he loved To Kill a Mockingbird. The list could go on. I loved having class with the same people for the last 9 years. I still hang out with a lot of my gradeschool friends!
Sam:
After graduating from J&A, I attended high school at CBC. There I continued playing the trombone and got involved in swimming and water polo. From there, I went to pursue a degree in computer engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. A couple of internships and a degree later, I landed a job as a software engineer at Boeing. My favorite J&A memory would have to be the mystery trip. I also liked 6th grade camp!
Mandy and Sam are getting married at J&A in July 2021. We are so happy for the two of you! Your J&A family will be praying for you as you prepare for your big day.
