Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 by five volunteers, with $500 in hand, and a profound spirit of charity. Little did those five inspired people realize how far their dedication to assisting people and families in need would go, or how many thousands of people would be empowered, encouraged and uplifted by that spirit.
We are the primary provider of programs for individuals, families and children in the tri-county area of St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren. Services are available for those who earn at or below 50% of the state median income.
We offer comprehensive case management and wrap around services that connect those in need with many community partners. Together, we work to stabilize and move them toward a state of sustainability.
The Care Service is heavily supported by the community with more than 100,000 volunteer hours per year in addition to donations of material, labor, food and monetary contributions.
Our programs include:
Housing Assistance
Children and Family Development
Food Pantry
Adopt-A-Family

We also have a services that fall under the umbrella of the Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service as a social service ministry of the Sts. Joachim & Ann Parish. These services include:
