Each child is provided a solid formation in their Catholic faith, variety of opportunities to embrace the value of service and encouraged to develop to their full potential through an individualized learning experience.

    • Work with the Care Service in ministry to the poor

    • Builder’s Club activities in ministry to the parish

    • Student Council activities in ministry to the school

    • Big Buddies program in ministry to the very young

    • Grandparent’s Day and JASSS Luncheon in ministry to the elderly

    • Chores for Charity and Pennies for Pro-Life in ministry to those in need and the unborn

    • Students preparing for sacraments are required to participate in personal service projects

    • Opportunities to work alongside parents, and other adults in community-building events

    • Strong core curriculum reinforced with supplemental and hands-on activities

    • Faculty and the administration, recognizes and celebrates each child’s talents and gifts.

    • Within the classroom, differentiated instruction and kinesthetic learning are utilized to help each child excel.

    • Students have access to a full-time Learning Consultant and voluntary tutoring to help meet their individual needs

    • Average student-teacher ratio is 21:1

    • Continual support, encouragement and praise, between parent and child, are enhanced by parent’s convenient access to online grades, progress reports and report cards, on an ongoing basis.

    • Students consistently receive above average scores on ITBS testing.

    • Increased student safety due to high-level of familiarity between students and faculty/staff
    • Students have access to counseling and full-time nursing services to ensure their emotional and physical well-being
    • Students thrive socially and are more comfortable expressing themselves and sharing their talents in a more intimate, personal environment.
    • Parents have daily opportunities for involvement in the life of the school
    • Comfortable environment with open communication and available access to teachers and administration by students and parents, either throughout the day, or for after school assistance.
    • Faculty and staff are readily visible at parish and school extra-curricular activities.
    • Blessed by generous volunteer efforts from parents and an active PTO, Saints Joachim and Ann Catholic School, in addition to quality education, also provides cultural enrichment programs and community-building social events
    • Our dynamic School Board consists of both parishioners with and without enrolled school-age children.
    • 70% of our teachers and staff are also parishioners active in parish life and ministries
    • 60% of our teachers and staff have raised or are raising their own children in our school
    • 25% of our teachers have taught at our school for more than fifteen years
    • 28% of our teachers have attained post-graduate degrees

    • Access to and instruction on modern computer equipment and programs, (Smartboards, laptop with projection screen, Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel software) will provide students with necessary technological skills.
    • Character education/positive discipline program, Keys to Success, enables students to see the connection between their choices & their personal success.
    • A variety of supplemental programs:  DARE, Right Start, Junior Achievement and Nature’s Classroom, which are offered annually to certain grades, reinforce skills that will be used throughout the student’s lives.
    • An educational continuum that flourishes in grades 6 – 8, providing opportunities for leadership through Student Council, Project Citizen, the Ambassador Program.
    • Junior-high curriculum designed to prepare students for a smooth transition into high school.
    • 100% of graduates are accepted to the high school of their choice
