The Catholic Church and Christ are inseparable. The Church was instituted by Jesus and is the Heart of the mystical body of Christ.
Our Parish recognizes that we as Catholics have an obligation to always expand and deepen our knowledge of our faith; to seek answers to our questions. We offer resources to our Catholic members that guide them to that growth.
We also recognize the we must teach our children our Catholic faith as they grow physically, so that they may also grow spiritually. Our Parish School children learn their faith through religious instruction as part of their schooling, preparing them for the Sacraments. For children not enrolled in our school, we have our Parish School of Religion teaching all aspects of our faith and preparing the children for the Sacraments.
We hope and pray that non-Catholics may find their way home to the fullness of life in Christ in the Catholic Church. We offer therefore our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program for those who seek to become Catholic, whether they come to us from other Christian denominations, or from other faiths or even from agnosticism/atheism. This 6 month program instructs on the Catholic Church and Faith and prepares the candidates and catechumens for the Sacraments.
In the same light, parents journeying toward Catholicism, may desire their children become Catholic along with them. This involves our Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) program that teaches the faith in a manner understandable to children and prepares them for the Sacraments.
