in Teaching Award

CONGRATULATIONS!...to our own Mrs. Amanda Goughenour --- recipient of the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award!! Of the teachers honored annually by Emerson, only 4 of 500 Archdiocesan school teachers can be selected...this year she's ours!

This award recognizes teachers for their passion for teaching, their impact on student learning, and their knowledge and creativity in the classroom. As part of the packet that Mrs. Goughenour submitted, she referenced a necklace she was given her first year of teaching. It said, “Teach. Inspire.” Nine years later she’s still wearing it. And nine years later she’s still inspiring her students each and every day! We are truly blessed to have her as part of our team here at Sts. Joachim and Ann! God bless Mrs. Goughenour and her Packers too!
