Hello! My name is Megan Wise and I’m excited to say that this is my 14th year of teaching, my 2nd at Sts. Joachim and Ann! I grew up in St. Louis Missouri and graduated from Fontbonne University with my Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Eduaction in 2000. I then went on to receive my Master’s of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Maryville University.
I began my teaching career in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Crestwood, where I taught 4th grade for two years. I then moved to the Hazelwood School District where I taught for the next 10 years! My first 5 years were at Lawson Elementary teaching 6th grade. I then moved to Hazelwood North Middle School, where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade PE and Health. After 12 years of teaching, I took 5 years off to be a stay at home mom. I am now in my second year of teaching 1st grade and couldn’t love it more! Currently, I live in O’Fallon with my husband Jerry and two girls (Emma and Nora). I love sports (especially the New England Patriots!) and spend much of my time watching my girls play! I also enjoy reading, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with my family!
